YRA Rodeo at the Alvin Arena

Friday and Saturday April 12 & 13th.  Locals can run as a permit.  Here is a link to the forms.

Frontier Day 2013!!!

Friday and Saturday night  April 26th & 27th  MUTTON BUSTIN’ 7:00 P.M. in conjunction with our CPRA/Frontier Day Rodeo .  Limited to 30 contestants per night.  Each night there will be a Hy ‘O Silver Buckle awarded for first place and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd.  Call in to Mary Meyer 713-501-8843 or Cassie Achille 832-250-2688.  $15 per night entry fee.  Enter one or both nights; specify at call in which night, pay when you get there.  Walk ups welcome if space is available.

Entertainment – CPRA rodeo Friday & Saturday night, Junior Gordon Band will play LIVE IN CONCERT after the rodeo both night!

Summer Series 2013 Dates!!!! - Speed Events now on Sunday!!!!

Sundays - Speed Events with Exhibitions from 4-6pm and Leadline starting promptly at 6:00 pm.

Mondays - Roping Events with Mutton Bustin starting promptly at 5:30.

If you want to ride in the Arena, please contact The Dixons at 979-319-2062 for access and lights.  Lights are available for 15$ an hour (cash or check made out to AYLAA - include drivers license number)

Call Ahead please for lights and turn lights off when you leave or notify the Dixons.

Cowboy Ministries is interested in hosting working cattle events on every other Wednesday's at 6:30 pm. Please contact Cowboy Ministries for more information.

Attention Rough Stock Riders! New Helmet Law!

New Law requires rough stock riders to wear a particular helmet. AY has purchased helmets for the mutton busters to wear. All other rough stock riders will be required to provide their own.
